Our Next 100 Years Starts With You

TCR has a rich history as the largest producing theatre in the state of Iowa. We produce on three stages, host educational programs for all ages, and staff hundreds to fill our explosive production calendar. As we enter our second century, we need a bit of help in fulfilling our vision.

Campaign Priorities

Unifying infrastructure, renovating upper floors, and enhancing production and patron experiences will launch the next era of community-centered theatre, education, and partnership in this iconic downtown facility.

This Unleashed Performing Arts Center will:

  • Boast an open, joyful, and navigable space with day and night activities

  • Meet the immediate demands of TCR’s robust production schedule and outstanding theatrical execution

  • Have the versatility to host a growing roster of partners in the business, civic, and social service industries

  • Welcome community members of all ages and all abilities in all spaces

Campaign Progress

Through a combination of public sources ($1.5 million) and community sources ($8 million), TCR plans to raise $9.5 million to fund the infrastructure renovations, modernized theatrical technology, and intentional design at the heart of this project.
